Knitting and Costumes...

I know I know.....I have been laggin...So here is a monster post. But not that current. I am still not posting photos from all my projects. Or outings. Soon...Bit by bit....
Here is the progress on the scarf.

It has another odd 90 degree turn in it. That is from watching Top Chef and knitting. Not such a smart idea.

Here is that neat-o yarn from Prue...Made from leftover t-shirt scraps....Lovely blue with hints of green and stuff...Cotton....will make a lovely sweater for Osky. I am using the 'Trellis' pattern from Knitty.com...not a complex as I thought. I think I may be inspired to make a lovely scarf with some lovely mohair. I heard that is fierce to knit with though...any input?
And I have been making some gifties and some other gifties along with the scarf...so it is taking a while to complete. Should be done tonight..
A lurker to the blog came by and helped calm me and Clinton down while the upstairs neighbors partied on Saturday last.

Without her there may have been some harsh words said. From us. They tried not to, but actions speak louder....
Clinton took some photos from our wander on Halloween.

The neighborhood block off a street one over from us for the kids and we had to check it out...
He likes to make it look all spooky.....

Cause this is what it really looked like.

And here he is in his regalia.

Fierce and cute....Hmmmmm...Gotta brag sometimes right?
Maybe next year the whole family can be "Death by Needles"...and trail red yarn....?
We also received another package in the mail from The Lurker.

How she got Osky for that long I will never know..how much do you think she paid to have him shipped?
You can't see it but he is in that bag..and he was loving it. Tore the whole thing up in seconds flat.
Aloha and till next time...

Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite....

I dont have real trouble with mohair as when i did my shawl the only prob was that it sheds so I have kept it in the freezer for a few hours in a zip lock bag before i wear it. i did only use plastic needles for the larger size i used only comes with that.
